Welcome to Me, a site about... Me

Egocentric? Yes. Conceited? No, I hope not. Informative? Probably not, unless you know nothing about me. In which case, you probably have no interest. So, no, definitely not informative.

The purpose of this site is to give me a central location to put or point to “stuff” about me. Like what? Well, there are often pictures I like to share. That’s one thing. I sometimes have thoughts I’d like to put out there, so a blog is probably another thing. Who knows what else you’ll find. Well, you should. It’s all right at the top in the menu. Duh!

Ultimately the reason for this site is that I am a geek. How is that a reason? Since everyone and their pet has a web site these days, I thought it was about time I made a real effort to put a site together. After all, I’m a computer geek. I study computer science. I’ve built pages for other people (nothing I’m terribly proud of). I’ve just never wanted to put forth the effort. Then along comes Apple’s iWeb. Sure, I’m a computer geek, so maybe I should be embarrassed to use such a simple WYSIWYG web dev tool. But, hey, iWeb just makes it easy. It made it simple enough that I finally felt it’s worth the effort.
